Maps & Directions
The physicians and staff of the St. Luke's Balance Center will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients with all types of balance disorders, such as:
- Imbalance and History of Falls
- Vertigo and Dizziness
- Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
- Cervicogenic dizziness
- Inner ear infections
- Exposure to ototoxins
- Undiagnosed conditions
- Chronic Conditions
- Status Post Concussion
- Sports
- Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA)
- Lower Extremity and Low Back Injuries
- Functional limitations
- S/P surgery or injury
- Sports injury
- Aging/Deconditioning
Physical Therapy
Patients who are referred to the Balance Center initially will be evaluated by a specially trained physical therapist. This comprehensive examination may include:
- Gait and Balance Assessment
- Vestibular Assessment
- Balance Master Computerized Testing
- Range of Motion/Strength Assessment
Further Evaluation and Treatment
Upon completion of evaluation, the patient will often be referred to other appropriate Balance Center team members for further evaluation and treatment.
